House Minority Leader

Rep. Drew Stokesbary serves as part of the House Republican Organizational Committee, representing his district with a strong focus on fiscal responsibility and good governance. A lifelong Washingtonian, Drew is the lead Republican on the Appropriations Committee and serves on several key budget and policy boards. He earned degrees from Duke University and the University of Notre Dame Law School before founding his own law firm, Stokesbary PLLC, and the nonprofit Citizen Action Defense Fund. Drew lives in Auburn with his wife, Ashley, their two sons, and their energetic dog, Scout.

Rep. April Connors serves as a member of the House Republican Organizational Committee, representing Washington’s 8th Legislative District with a focus on responsible budgeting, tax relief, and affordable housing. A lifelong Tri-Citian now in her second term, April was elected House Republican Floor Leader in 2024, leading caucus strategy and floor debate — including a 24-hour stand against a proposed state income tax in 2026. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Washington State University and works as a residential real estate broker, following earlier work as a legal assistant on a housing case that reached the U.S. Supreme Court. April is assistant ranking member on the House Appropriations Committee and also sits on the Housing and Rules committees. She lives in Kennewick with her husband and their four children.

District 14, Position 1
Rep. Chris Corry serves as a member of the House Republican Organizational Committee, representing Central Washington with a focus on common-sense values and community engagement. Born in Southern California and raised on a small farm before relocating to Western Washington, Chris earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington, where he was active in the College Republicans and student government. With over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, he brings expertise in finance, risk management, and business development. An active community leader, Chris volunteers with local organizations including SW Rotary, Crime Stoppers of Yakima County, and programs supporting foster families. He and his wife, Jennica, reside in Yakima with their three children and dog.
